The National Museum of Bosnia and Hezegovina
The National Museum of Bosnia and Hezegovina in Sarajevo is the oldest museum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 1888, during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Within the artifacts you can see many objects and documents related to the cultural and historical heritage of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The National Museum of Bosnia and Hezegovina also houses a botanical garden where numerous plant species can be seen, including endemic plant species on the ground of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo Museum 1878-1918
In 1914, an event occurred in Sarajevo that became the cause of World War I. Namely, on June 28. 1914, an assassination took place in which Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia were killed. The interesting part is that the location of the museum stands right next to the place where this, very important event in European history, happened. The museum contains many details related to the assassination, about the perpetrator of the murder Gavrilo Princip, as well as details related to the situation in Sarajevo during the Austro-Hungarian period.
Sarajevo City Hall (Vijećnica)
The Old Town of Sarajevo is not only famous for the Sebilj (Sebil -fountain), but also for one of the main city symbols- the City Hall (Vijećnica). Until August 25th of 1992, the City Hall was one of the largest treasury books in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
That same night the “heart” of Sarajevo stopped beating.
The war in Bosnia and Herzegovina raged and in the aftermath of the human casualties, the city of Sarajevo suffered severe wounds in the field of history and culture. The City Hall was set on fire and many books were irreversibly destroyed. Finally, after many years, the City Hall “rose from the ashes”.
The renovation and reconstruction was completed in 2014, done according to the original documentation from 1896, and has since reopened its doors to visitors.

The salvage tunnel was made during the siege of Sarajevo, in 1993. The construction of the tunnel was kept strictly confidential. Today, the Sarajevo Tunnel exists as a museum and memory, with the hope that it will never again be needed. Passing through the tunnel took place in two directions simultaneously. During 30 months, that the tunnel was in use, three million people have passed through it. Today, in the museum can seen numerous photographs, videos and objects that were created or used during the period when the Sarajevo Tunnel was the only link between the besieged Sarajevo and the rest of the world.

Boračko Lake is one of the natural pearls on the soil of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Boračko jezero has an elliptical shape. Its length is 786 meters, and the maximum width is 402 meters. Its surface area is 0.26 square kilometers. Length of the lake shore is 2.4 km. The lake is the deepest in the southeastern narrow part of about 17 m. The water is warmest in August (about 25 °C), the coldest in February (0 °C).

Konjic is a city in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located on both sides of the Neretva River. The most famous landmark of Konjic is the Konjic Old Bridge.
You can also visit the medieval tombstones, so called “Stećci”. The Konjic area is attractive because of its richness of natural beauty.Many activities can be practiced in this area: hiking, rafting, rural tourism, kayaking or canoeing, etc.

Boračko Lake is one of the natural pearls on the soil of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Boračko Lake is famous for fishing (because of large quantities of fish in the lake itself).
Boračko jezero has an elliptical shape. Its length is 786 meters, and the maximum width is 402 meters. Its surface area is 0.26 square kilometers. Length of the lake shore is 2.4 km. The lake is the deepest in the southeastern narrow part of about 17 m. The water is warmest in August (about 25 °C), the coldest in February (0 °C).

The most important landmark in the village of Tjentište is the Sutjeska National Park. This national park is the largest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is home to the last wildwood in Europe – the Perucica wildwood. The only “European jungle”.

The International Council for the Protection of Birds has placed this reserve on the list of important bird habitats (home to 240 bird species). This nature park is ideal for bird and nature lovers.
Počitelj
Počitelj is a small oriental town that, due to its importance and beauty, has ended up on the UNESCO list. The specialty of this place is a mixture of two construction styles: Mediterranean and Ottoman construction style. Počitelj hosts an art colony with the longest tradition in this part of Europe. The most interesting and visited object in Počitelj is the Clock Tower (Sahat kula). It is a tall fort rising above the city.
Neum
Neum is a famous tourist destination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the only town in Bosnia and Herzegovina that has access on the Adriatic Sea. Neum has stone-sandy beaches, and several large tourist hotels. The city is focused on tourism. Tourists can enjoy many activities: scuba diving, parasailing, renting boats and water scooters. The Bosnian Sea is a “must go” destination.

Blagaj (Dervish House at the Vrelo Bune spring)
Another tourist attraction that is located near the city of Mostar, in the village Blagaj, is the Dervish House at the Vrelo Bune spring. The Buna River springs beneath the rocks that are several hundred meters high. Buna is the largest karst spring in Europe by volume of water. Buna spring is a protected reserve of natural landscapes.
This area was the center of interest of Roman nobles, Ottoman viziers and cadis, etc.
Next to the spring, Dervish House (Tekija) is located. This historic Sufi monastery is built on the cliffs by the water, with a mausoleum & an old Turkish bath. It is an example of an house over 550 years old. It remained as authentic as it was from the time it was made.
